Vision Statement
To positively impact the credit management profession in the Greater Seattle Metropolitan area by being a leader in education and direction, thereby setting industry standards for professional excellence.

Mission Statements
  1. Strengthen our local credit and financial profession by continually promoting Seattle CFDD as a valuable resource for all in our profession
  2. To develop and market high quality educational programs that contribute significantly to professional development, and
  3. To be a viable force within the National NACM network through participation in and contribution to other local, State and National NACM and CFDD organizations
NACM - CFDD Objectives
  1. To advance credit management as a career through our ongoing publicity and interaction in our community.
  2. To promote and advance the interest of credit executives and assistants.
  3. To encourage education in the credit field by continuing to offer credit educational seminars, programs, and by supporting the credit education classes offered by our local NACM Affiliate.
  4. To offer mentoring to those in credit management who seek counsel from an experienced credit professional.
  5. To discuss problems affecting credit and allied subjects at monthly meetings, and to be involved in providing a solution to the problem through education and training.
  6. To build confidence in ourselves and in our business relationships through closer personal contact and networking with other credit professionals.
  7. To urge participation in Chapter activities and committee work to achieve increased benefits for the association membership.
  8. To work with other local and national bodies to meet current civic, legal and economic challenges concerning our profession.
Educational Programs
NACM Seattle offers a 2 year education program at Edmonds Community College. The Business Associate of Technical Arts Degree is designed for students currently working or interested in the area of Credit Management. For more information on this program, please contact the National Association of Credit Management office in Seattle at 206-728-6333.

Financial Assistance
During the remainder of the fiscal year ending in May, CFDD Seattle will be awarding scholarships good toward the cost of various Seminars, Credit Education classes, Credit Conferences, and Accreditation Exam.
